Well done to all the hard-working teams participating in the Night Managers Challenge over the past several weeks. We are delighted to share that the event was a tremendous success, particularly across our venues in London.
In total nine venues managed to achieve a 100% MERKUR venue standards check over the course of the two-part challenge.
A brilliant effort from MERKUR Slots Camberwell as they did exceptionally well, receiving 100% in their standards checks back-to-back. Not only is it incredible to achieve 100% in one of their checks, but to receive a second is outstanding.
The aim of the Night Managers Challenge isn’t just about venues earning 100% in their standards check. It is also to make sure that the venues improved their scores in-between the checks. Well done to our MERKUR Slots venues in Kilburn, North Finchley, Barking and Edmonton Green for improving their score by 15% or more, over the two parts of the challenge. For the whole of London, we saw that the average score increased by 5%, which is fantastic. Thank you to all the night staff for your time and dedication, your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Although gambling and gaming should be enjoyed as a recreational activity, it can cause a problem for a minority of players. We aim to prevent problem gambling and underage access to our venues while simultaneously providing a friendly and entertaining gambling experience for our players. As a responsible gambling operator, the well-being of our players is of utmost importance.
