Beacon Bingo in Redcar put a huge smile on John Taylor’s face last Thursday (August 15th), when he became the 11th and final winner of an all-inclusive holiday, which has been the main prize in a special game that’s been running every six weeks since May 2018.
For 68-year John from Ushaw Moor, County Durham, the win was made all the sweeter by the fact he’s never been abroad before.
He said: “I was amazed to win, but then I panicked a little on the basis I don’t even have a passport as I’ve only ever been on holiday in England. I sent my application off in the post first thing the morning after, and have been told I’ll have my passport in good time to jet off to Corfu in September.
Each winner and their holiday companion will enjoy free flights and transfers to the 4 star Merbella Club hotel, resort and spa in Corfu next month, where they’ll be guaranteed limitless high-quality food and drinks, and hopefully a lot of sunshine. All winners need to do is arrange the necessary holiday insurance.
