And they’re off… Beacon Bingo Redcar’s 22 holiday winners set off for holiday of a lifetime
It was
smiles all around at Beacon Bingo Redcar this past weekend, with the 22 lucky
winners setting off for their once-in-a-lifetime all-inclusive holiday to Corfu
with the club.
The
holiday draws, which have been taking place once every six weeks since May
2018, saw a special game of bingo take place in the club, with the main prize
offering two tickets to the winner, each worth a staggering £2,200.
For some
players, such as John Taylor from Ushaw Moor, this marks their first ever
holiday abroad. John said, “When I realised I won, I panicked a little on the
basis I didn’t even have a passport as I’ve only ever been on holiday in
England! Luckily it came in more than enough time, so I’m rearing to go now!”
Vicky Jeffels was gifted the holiday by the eighth winner, her grandma Marion. She was very moved and explained how it was like to find out about the offer: “When my grandma first told me she wanted to give her holiday win to myself and my partner, I almost burst out in tears. I couldn’t believe how generous it was of her, but that’s just the kind of person she is! We’ve both been counting down the days to the holiday and now it’s here we can’t wait to step on that plane with the other winners! Thank you grandma and thank you Beacon Bingo.”
Each of the 11 winners, and their plus ones, are enjoying free flights and transfers to the 4 star Marbella Club hotel, resort and spa, where they’ll be guaranteed limitless high-quality food and drinks, and hopefully a lot of sunshine.
Rocky
Richmond, general manager of Beacon Bingo Redcar, said; “These past 16 months
have been amazing. The atmosphere in the venue every time we announced the next
holiday winner was absolutely brilliant. We have a number of regulars coming on
this holiday with us, as well as newer customers who got to see just why we are
known as the most exciting Bingo club in Redcar! It’s very rewarding to give something back to the community.”
