Beacon Bingo to re-launch in Loughborough

Beacon Bingo will re-launch its Loughborough venue on Monday 24th August. The venue, based on the city’s Baxter Gate, has been closed to the public for five months due to the outbreak of Coronavirus and subsequent implementation of lockdown measures.

Beacon Bingo’s Chief Operating Office, Mark Schertle said; “One of the main attractions of Beacon Bingo is the social side of gaming we provide to our customers. After months of lockdown, many of our customers have been looking forward to coming back to our venue. We hope that by re-launching this venue, we will see many of our loyal customers returning and we want to reassure them that it is safe place to visit.”

Beacon Bingo venues are all Covid-secure, with an “Open, clean, safe” campaign being launched that focuses heavily on ensuring new safety precautions are in-place and everything is communicated effectively with customers, via social channels and the official website. The senior management team will continue to heed official government advice and will regularly monitor, and adjust the plan, over the coming weeks and months. Safety measures inside the venue include Perspex screens, full cleans between customers playing, full machine cleans between customers, sanitise stations and social distancing measures.

“In addition to the new safety measures” continued Mark “we have some great customer offers, new menu and will be taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme which runs until the end of August. Customers who have missed our machines will be able to enjoy all of their favourite games, as well as the latest in Blueprint games.”

The re-launch of Beacon Bingo in Loughborough is part of a nationwide phased reopening of all Beacon Bingo venues.

“Bingo clubs like the one here in Loughborough play an important role in the lives of a lot of people, continued Mark. “So many of our customers are great friends and our teams are proud to call a lot of our regular customers friends as well. Therefore, re-launching has been highly anticipated for everyone involved with Beacon Bingo during lockdown.”
